Foods, for looking the part as they prepare for a major push to
secure a quick return to the county’s Premier Division. The

agility training classes for dogs of all ages have been given a new
lease of life thanks to support from one of the UK’s most

hall, which are now benefiting from a new range of purpose-designed
equipment thanks to financial sponsorship provided by Royal Canin,

facility at first hand
A special
Open Day organised by Crown Pet Foods last Saturday has provided
residents of Castle Cary and Ansford with the opportunity to see
the company’s advanced £18m production facility at first hand. As
well as guided tours of the kitchen and production lines, a hog
roast and entertainment for children was provided and it proved to

12th August 2008 - New odour abatement technology now
on-line
Following a shut down of four days, Crown Pet Foods has
confirmed its new odour abatement system is now operational and
that production has now resumed at its facility on the outskirts of
Castle Cary. Representing an investment of £1m, the new technology
comprises a new stainless steel condenser, weighing more than three
tonnes, and no less than 18 cubic metres of activated carbon for
the two new filtration systems. Both additional systems are now
operating in tandem with the cold plasma filter installed as part

8th April 2008 - Pet food producer to introduce advanced
odour control technology at new Castle Cary facility
Further investment in advanced odour control technology has been
confirmed by Crown Pet Foods at its new £17m production facility on
the outskirts of Castle Cary, which opened in November last year.
The move follows the company’s detailed assessment of the latest
odour control technologies and a series of recent discussions with
the Environment Agency and the Town Council. Read More... |
